The Polaroids is a photography project featuring one “digital instant film” everyday, depicting the mood or the discovery of the day. This project is dedicated to my mother and great friend Annick Rebuffet, who happens to be the only person (but me) to have seen all of it and began to discover the World Wide Web at the age of 75 for the sake of enjoying my instant film of the day. Well, maman, every day should be dedicated to you and your endless support.
Every original picture is originally taken by Siris Amsterdam using smartphones or picked from his own stock to render and deliver the “thing of the day”. The blog can be seen as a journey, a photo-journal where most of the pictures are taken at New York City, USA and Paris, France.
